2016 Lincoln MKZ from Dealerships near McComb, MS: An Edgier Upgrade

More and more luxury cars are sporting the sleek, sportier exterior that has gained favor, especially with the young professionals. The most recent car model that joins the fray is the 2016 Lincoln MKZ, which now sports a more streamlined design.

Lincoln’s turnaround happened last year, when their loyal customers voiced the concern that most of the competition had already ventured into releasing sleeker models, while the Lincoln flagship was still loyal to its classic design. Heeding public advice, the car manufacturer went ahead and gave the 2016 Lincoln MKZ a much-needed facelift.

New look, same trademark design

Tagged as fresh design DNA, the exterior of the 2016 Lincoln MKZ still has its trademark split-wing grille, but now sports more refined lines that seamlessly blends with headlamps and gently follows the hood’s modern contour.

What lies beneath its new skin

Underneath the handsome exterior, the standard MKZ features keyless ignition and entry, adaptive suspension dampers, adaptive LED headlights and taillights, and 18-inch wheels among others. Under the hood, you can find either a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.6L V-6 engine. Both can give around 33 mpg highway fuel mileage, but the V-6 boasts 300 horsepower (versus the 240 horsepower of the turbocharged engine).

Technology basically remains the same

Although the 2016 Lincoln MKZ has just undergone a serious overhaul in terms of exterior, its current technology, the MyLincoln Touch interface remains unchanged. This means that you can expect many more great things from future models of the Lincoln MKZ.
